Rocket City Innovator's Business Accelerator Program the Frank J Williams Dream Tank, is where innovation takes flight and startups soar to new heights. This program is designed to empower emerging business owners with the tools, support, and resources they need to turn their entrepreneurial visions into thriving ventures. 

  • Key Components of the Program:

    • Mentorship: Our program offers personalized mentorship from industry experts and successful entrepreneurs. Participants receive guidance on various aspects of business development, including strategy, marketing, finance, and operations.

    • Networking Opportunities: Connect with a diverse network of professionals, investors, and fellow entrepreneurs. Regular networking events, workshops, and seminars provide valuable opportunities to build meaningful relationships, share experiences, and explore potential collaborations.

    • Resources: Access a comprehensive suite of resources, including legal advice, financial planning, and marketing support. Our goal is to equip entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the challenges of the business landscape.

    • Workshops: Engage in tailored workshops covering essential topics such as business planning, market research, and product development. These workshops are designed to provide practical insights and actionable strategies for success.

    • Pitching Platform: Entrepreneurs who successfully complete required workshops and undergo a thorough vetting process will have the opportunity to pitch their startups to potential investors. This platform allows them to showcase their innovative ideas, business plans, and growth potential, attracting the necessary capital to fuel their ventures.

  • Participant Eligibility:

    • Participants must be 19 or older.

    • Open to individuals from diverse backgrounds and skill levels.

    • Business DOES NOT have to be operating or have an LLC.​

    • Business can be a partnership or ran by multiple people.

    • Participants must be able to meet for monthly workshops.

  • Recruitment Process:

    • Information Sessions:

      • RCI will host informational sessions for participants to learn more about the program.

    • Online Applications:

      • Application will be open until July 31, 2024.

      • Applicants MUST pay the $25 application fee to be eligible for the program.

    • Selection Committee:

      • A selection committee will review applications and select participants based on set criteria.

    • Notification:

      • Participants will be notified via email of selection decision by Friday August 2, 2024.

  • Program Timeline:

    • Application close - July 31, 2024

    • Participants Notified - August  2024

    • First Workshop - September 2024

      • Monthly Workshop Calendar will be given out to participants​​​

    • Investor Competition - April 2025​

  • Tentative Program Outline​:

    • Application and Selection: Entrepreneurs apply to join the program, undergo a rigorous selection process, and are chosen based on the uniqueness and viability of their business ideas.

    • Incubation: Accepted participants enter the incubation phase, gaining access to the program's full range of resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities.

    • Workshops and Training: Entrepreneurs attend a series of workshops covering key aspects of business development, enhancing their skills and knowledge.

    • Pitch Preparation: Participants work closely with mentors to refine their business pitches, ensuring they are well-prepared to present their ideas to potential investors.

    • Investor Pitch Event: The culmination of the program involves a dedicated event where entrepreneurs pitch their startups to a panel of potential investors, securing the funding needed to propel their businesses forward.

    • The program will culminate with an investor pitch competition where participants will pitch their business to a panel of potential investors, including Frank J. Williams. and his hand selected colleagues. 

    • The participants will work on pitch presentations and business plan throughout the program.

    • Entrepreneurs who successfully complete required workshops and undergo a thorough vetting process will have the opportunity to pitch your startups to potential investors.

    • This platform allows you to showcase you innovative ideas, business plans, and growth potential, attracting the necessary capital to fuel your business venture.

    • There will be a minimum investment of at least $2500 GUARANTEED for one business from RCI.
